Health care is a tough, complex issue. Certainly, cost is a burden on small businesses, and affects their ability to create jobs.

We don’t know what kind of bill they will end up with in Washington, if any. The bill that passed the House has a long way to go, and we don’t know what it will look like. I can tell you my principles: We have to slow the growth of the costs of health care and we should cover pre-existing conditions. We need health coverage that is sustainable and affordable. I am against government providing a public option and prefer that the government work to open up markets to encourage competition that will help bring the cost of premiums down.
