A Message from Jodie Haydon

     My father taught me from an early age to "leave a place better than you found it." At this point in my life, I am reminded of my father's lesson which has led me to seek the office of State Senator. We need positive change and I want to work to see it happen.

     My father, a mechanic by trade, together with my mother, worked to build up a family business that has employed three generations of residents in our region and contributed to our local economy. I have instilled in my family these values of hard work, dedication, and giving back to the community.

     As a former legislator, business owner and employer in the region, I know first-hand the stresses that our economy has created for families and small businesses. I believe now more than ever that we need strong leadership to help guide us through these rocky economic times. I know that working together we can make our Kentucky home a better place to pass on to the next generation. I ask for your vote on December 8^th.
